There is a moment I still think about.

I was early in this work — raw, uncertain, still figuring out what I was doing. A client sat down across from me at a little psychic fair tucked in the back of a deli. I didn’t know anything about her. What I didn’t know, specifically, was that her spouse was seriously ill.

But as the reading unfolded, I walked straight into the middle of it — the fears she hadn’t said out loud, the hopes she was barely letting herself hold, the weight of what she was carrying alone. And then something shifted in the room. We weren’t alone anymore. Spirit was present, clearly and specifically, letting her know she was seen and supported regardless of what came next.

I walked away from that reading knowing two things. This is real. And this is what I’m here to do.

That was over twenty years ago. A lot has changed since the deli.

I have worked with thousands of clients across the world by phone, by Zoom, and in person. I have sat with grief, with impossible decisions, with people at crossroads they couldn’t see past. I have delivered messages that made people laugh and messages that made them cry, sometimes in the same session.

What has not changed is what I care about most: that you leave with something real. Not a performance. Not vague comfort. Something true, and something useful.

Here Is What People Don’t Expect

They come in braced for the mystical. They leave surprised by how grounded it felt — and how specific.

I am not going to tell you what you want to hear. I am going to tell you what I see — the patterns, the dynamics, the question underneath the question you actually asked. If you ask me “does he love me,” I am not going to immediately give you a yes or a no. I am going to help you understand what’s actually happening in that relationship, what you are ready for, and what your partner is actually able to give. That is the kind of clarity you can do something with.

I bring a direct, warm style to sessions, and yes, a sense of humor, because life is too heavy to take entirely seriously. I will name the hard things honestly, and then together we will figure out the practical way through.

You do not need to be more spiritual, more certain, or less skeptical to work with me. You just need to be willing to listen.

A Little More About Me

For most of my adult life, I kept parts of myself in separate compartments. There was the professional version — thirty-plus years in corporate finance and technology, structured and measurable and credible. And then there was the rest — the part that knew things, felt things, and could walk into a room and sense what was really going on beneath the surface.

For a long time, I didn’t let those two worlds mix. I was more comfortable being half of myself in any given room than risking what it might mean to show up whole.

Eventually, that stopped working. I got tired of the compartments. I started asking myself what the rest of my life looked like if I kept parts of myself hidden — not just the psychic work, but all of it. The answer was: smaller than I wanted.

So I stopped hiding. Not dramatically; I’m not the rooftop-shouting type. But I made a decision to let what I am be what it is, in all places, without apology. The corporate background and the psychic work are not opposites. They are the same person. And it turns out, that person is more useful whole than divided.

I now live in Minneapolis with my very patient husband and the trio of cats who are firmly in charge. I have over 500 books and counting — science fiction, fantasy, personal development, and whatever else catches my attention. I write. I take photographs occasionally. I think too much, which probably comes with the territory.

Who I Work Best With

My favorite clients are not looking for just a yes or a no. They are looking for understanding. They come with questions, but what they really want is to leave with a clearer sense of what is actually happening, what their choices look like, and what one or two sensible next steps might be.

They are self-aware. They are sometimes skeptical, or at least cautious. They have usually spent a long time being competent and capable, and this — reaching out to a psychic — feels a little outside the lines for them.

That’s okay. You are not broken for being here. You are not weird for wanting this. You are just someone who has run out of road on the purely logical path and are willing to try a different kind of clarity.

I have been that person. I understand what it took to make the call.
